According to Daily Mail, Blackpool FC are back in the hunt for Slovenian captain Robert Koren, after earlier talks failed over his wage demands. But now, talks have restarted after Koren dropped his wage demands.

Koren, 29, was released by West Brom following their promotion to the Premier League, after they failed to agree terms over a new contract.

Koren also has admirers in Spain and Portugal, but the midfielder is keen to play in the English Premier League.

Koren has 49 International caps for his country, Slovenia. He is the captain of the national side and scored a winner against Algeria in the on-going FIFA World Cup.

The midfielder would be an excellent addition to the side, considering his vast experience of the English game.
