NBA Offseason: Tracy McGrady, Different Opinion About Chicago Bulls Now?

Suddenly McGrady has different opinion about Chicago Bulls.

The veteran is privately interested in playing under Bulls present management -- not under Jerry Krause though. Personally, under the right guidelines, Bulls may entertain this. And as of now, there's three solid rotational G/F's on the perimeter -- Ronnie Brewer, Kyle Korver and Luol Deng -- signing McGrady omits opportunity for mistakes in James Johnson and gives Chicago more ammo for Rose.

But, of course, you have those in the majority against this signing for all of McGrady's soap operas that are likely to induce.

Will he complain about playing-time?
Does he care about sacrificing for the betterment of the team?
More blah, some added blah -- and who cares.

Fact is, McGrady has the benefit of the doubt. This past season when asking Knicks players about McGrady, all had something good to say. It wasn't your typical 'oh, McGrady, what a good guy' type of stuff. They enjoyed the small tenure with him -- especially Wilson Chandler.

And for McGrady to even fathom about playing in Chicago, when knowing former Houston assistant coach Thibodeau is here, that makes you pause for a second, too.

Quite frankly, where's the downside?

After all, McGrady did drop a 58% showing against Kevin Durant after a long hiatus, begging the question: Is he done, or is his tread repaired?

Don't look like he's done to me:

DO IT! DO IT!
