Nets Try To Buy Draft Pick To Take Tiny Gallon on Second Round

KANSAS CITY, MO - MARCH 10: Tiny Gallon #24 of the Oklahoma Sooners looks to shoot over Marshall Moses #33 of the Oklahoma State Cowboys in the first half during the first round game of the 2010 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament at the Sprint Center on March 10, 2010 in Kansas City, Missouri. The Nets tried to buy a pick in the second to Tiny Gallon, the 6`10", 320-pound Oklahoma PF.

Sounds like Gallon would be a good back-up for lopez or Favors. The Nets were hoping the Bucks didn't take Gallon with the 47th overall pick in the NBA Draft. The Nets had a deal in place to acquire the 48th pick, but the Bucks beat the the Nets to the punch and drafted him at No. 47.

Tiny Gallon look good in the Las Vegas Summer League. The Nets could use a strong PF right now, and Gallon would be a missing piece to their roster. Maybe there is a chance to aqcuire him before training camp starts.
