John Cena has been bashed by the wrestling fans for years now due to his super hero persona and how he has been painted as this generation's Hulk Hogan. John Cena has been the top babyface in WWE since 2005 and he has done so much good for the WWE by having stellar matches with superstars and making the WWE somewhat of a success during the PG era. Now the WWE is embarking on the SummerSlam strech so they need to make an impact on the fans and what better way to make an impact than making John Cena a heel by him joining Nexus.

John Cena has had the same old gimmick since he dropped the rapper image back in 2006.While he is a hit with children, adults have grown tired of the same old thing week after week. It is time to make Cena a heel and to really shake up the entire WWE universe because the WWE is growing stale with Cena.

John Cena is a solid performer by having some amazing matches agianst the top guys that the WWE have to offer but some fans absolutly hate Cena and everything he stands for so maybe a heel turn can get those Cena haters to admire him and maybe even cheer him each week.

Cena is one of the most popular wrestlers with young girls and women because of his "charming" looks, but males have really been split on Cena so maybe a heel turn can get him either loved by everyone or hated but either way, it would generate a lot of buzz within the WWE.
