The Houston Chronicle is reporting that Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey has traded backup point guard Bobby Jackson, an undisclosed player (perhaps Rockets' first rounder Donte' Green), and next year's first-round draft pick. The Rockets will also send money totaling near one million dollars.
Artest is the second player acquired by the Rockets outside the draft. He will likely share time at the second guard position, as well as small forward. This may possibly set up a move involving Shane Battier, who many teams have inquired about.
