It’s no secret that the fashion of golfwear is at best questionable. John Daly takes the cake, though, for the most outrageously tacky outfits in golf.
With every tournament Daly plays, it is interesting to see what crazy pair of pants he is going to wear next.
While Daly is one of the most talented men in golf, his crazy pants sometimes seem to get more attention than his game.
These are the five most outrageous Daly outfits from this British Open between the previews and first several rounds.
No. 5 Bright Argyle
These are not the worst pants Daly has ever worn, but they are very eye-catching.
The print on these pants look like it belongs on a purse or maybe on a sweater—but not on a pair of pants.
What's even worse is that he has the woman in this photo wearing the same pants!
These were seen on July 13.
No. 4 Purple Paisley
These pants are ugly to say the least.
This print looks like it belongs on a little girl's purse or dress, not on a grown man's pants.
In combination with the baby blue vest and light pink polo, this outfit is the eyesore of the course for sure.
Daly wore this monstrosity July 15.
No. 3 Matchy Matchy
Here it looks as though Daly and his female companion decided to match their pants and skirt.
This print featured on the skirt and pants looks like the color wheel threw up on their clothes.
In addition to his bad sense of fashion, it seems he is now draging those around him down in his lack of fashion sense.
These pants were seen on July 12, 2010.
No. 2 Tiger Stripes
These pants honestly look like pajama pants, not golf pants
Or maybe they look like something one would wear out hunting if they were a bit darker in color.
Either way, these pants are crazy, but at least he matched his shirt to the color scheme of his pants this time.
These pants were worn today, July 17.
No. 1 Pretty in Pink
These pants look like they're a little confused which decade they belong in.
The bright neon colors would suggest they belong in the 80s but the print says maybe they belong in the 60s.
Either way, no matter what decade they belong in, Daly was easy to spot on the course this day, thanks to the bright neon colors he is wearing from head to toe
These pants were seen on July 16.
