According to Ken Tysiac of the Charlotte Observer, Marvin Austin and Greg Little were two of the UNC football players interviewed by investigators. Austin was questioned due to his ties to former UNC defensive end and first round pick Kentwan Balmer. Sources say he has been seen driving a car of Balmer's and has stayed at his apartment. There was no information as to why exactly Little was questioned, but sources say all of UNC's projected draft picks who elected to return to college were asked to provide their phone records so investigators could see which agents they spoke to.

Marvin Austin is the anchor of possibly the most talented defense in the country. His disruption in the middle of the line allows the ends to penetrate and the linebackers to be playmakers. Greg Little is one the few proven bright spots on the offense and arguably the top playmaker.Losing any of these players could be a setback for UNC in the ACC this season, where they are expected to contend for the Coastal Division Title.
