The University of Kentucky will be without one of there highly regarded recruits in Donte Rumph. Rumph was tagged by scout.com and rivals.com as a three star defensive lineman.

The reason for Rumph not being able to play is unknown at this time. He was not enrolled in summer school, so speculation is that he was ruled ineligible.

UK Coach Rich Brooks said last week at the SEC media day that all freshmen were eligible to play. According to UK spokesperson Tony Neely, Brooks was referring to all the players enrolled summer school.

UK is set to start practice on Tuesday, August 5.
