Offseason: Is Rip Hamilton Next For the Chicago Bulls?

Del ChocContributor IIJuly 16, 2010

The Chicago Bulls have put a premium on addressing the opening at shooting guard with a player who fits the culture of the team, comes from a high profile college program, and has a hands-on approach from the start of training camp.

Sensitive agenda, right?

Redick won't be suiting-up in red-and-black any time soon.

This creates a dire situation in what has been one of the Bulls most active offseasons.  The Bulls firmly insist they're not budging on their mode of operation, reassuring fans it's the organization that wins.

Enter Richard Hamilton.

Like it or not, Hamilton stands amongst stars known for clutch performances, excelling in the fourth quarters. Only four names top his: LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Dirk Nowitzki, Carmelo Anthony and Steve Nash.

You need players who know what it takes, and Hamilton knows what it takes.
