Thursday's Stage 11 of the Tour de France will be remembered for the head-butting incident that allowed sprinter Mark Cavendish of Team Columbia to earn his third stage victory of 2010 and got teammate Mark Renshaw booted from the race .

But atop the leaderboard, things stayed much the same, as Luxembourg's Andy Schleck maintained a 41-second lead over defending Tour champ Alberto Contador.

And Friday's 210.5-km ride from Bourg-Peage to Mende could provide an opportunity for the Spaniard to make up some time, with the route's five small climbs and the finish on top of the three-km-long climb of Montee Laurent Jalabert.

Friday's action can be seen live from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. ET.

You can catch all the action on Versus, available on channel 603 on DirecTV and channel 151 on Dish Network. Check your local cable listings for channel lineups.
