Sensationalism Sells Says USC

Fair and balanced. That's a great tag line but is completely devoid of reality.
The simple truth is that to generate comments and to stir debate the absolute last thing you, or I, as journalist/writer, want to do is be "fair" and or "balanced."
Let's face it...articles that are "fair" and/or "balanced" receive the most ho-hum/who gives a sh** no response.
For example, I wrote an article about how I thought Nebraska would finish leaving room for anywhere between undefeated season and four losses...and I received ZERO responses.
Conversely any article that degrades/debases/demeans any high profile program, regardless if the facts are right or not, are deluged with comments.
What is the duplicate article?
Why is this article offensive?
Where is this article plagiarized from?
Why is this article poorly edited?
