Cubs-Brewers: Cubs Take Game One Look to Zambrano in Game Two

For the second straight day the Cubs were led on offense by Alfonso Soriano and Derrek Lee.

Soriano connected off of CC Sabathia in the third inning for his second homer in as many games.

Derrek Lee was able to clinch the 5-4 win for the Cubs in the top of the ninth inning with a run scoring double down the right field line.. 

Ted Lilly pitched a strong six innings for the Cubs giving up three runs, all scored in the sixth. Lilly did not get a decision in the game.

Reliever Chad Gaudin got the win in a relief appearance shutting down the Brewers offense.

Carlos Marmol came in in the ninth inning for the save.

The Cubs will turn to their ace Carlos Zambrano in game two when he squares off with Ben Sheets.
