Well isn’t this special. Juan Pablo Montoya, who is arguably one of the most heckled drivers in NASCAR, was named by SportsPro magazine as one of the worlds most marketable athlete.
Montoya was ranked 34th and Dale Earnhardt Jr. was 39th on the list. However, this duo were the only NASCAR cup drivers selected.
It is a little bit curious that Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, and Tony Stewart were left off.
How is Dale Earnhardt Jr. marketable outside of the USA? Juan Pablo Montoya has raced all over the world, so I can understand that pick.
Well, just a few questions about these picks—I’m not making any judgments here Earnhardt Jr. nation.
The picks were selected by some of the biggest business magazines in the world, including Forbes, Business Week, and SportsBusiness Journal, among others.
Congratulations to No. 42, this award should facilitate the selling of sponsorship for EGR.
