In the 2010 offseason, John Hammond has done a marvelous job so far. The starting lineup looks set with Brandon Jennings at the point, Salmons at SG, Maggette at SF, Gooden at PF, and Bogut at C.

On the bench, the Bucks have Delfino, Mbah a Moute, Ersan, Larry Sanders, Tiny Gallon, Darington Hobson, and CDR. Also, you can't forget Michael Redd who might not return until February 2011, but could be a pleasant surprise off the bench when he does fully recover.

Still, if the Bucks want to be Championship contenders and knock off the likes of Boston, Miami, and LA, they need some role players and experienced veterans. Here are 10 that the Bucks should consider:

Eddie House - PG

AGE: 32
EXP: 10 years
NBA Championship Rings: 1

House fit in well with Boston when they won the NBA Finals in '08. He is familiar with playing behind a talented young PG, playing behind Rajon Rondo in Boston.

Rafer Alston - PG

AGE: 33
EXP: 11 years
NBA Championship Rings: 0

Alston hasn't won an NBA Championship yet; however, he has played on some talented teams including the Bucks from 1999-2002 with the Big Three of Ray Allen, Glenn Robinson, and Sam Cassell. For a veteran PG who can score, Alston is a bargain, as he made only $476,000 last year.

Earl Boykins - PG

AGE: 34
EXP: 11 years
NBA Championship Rings: 0

Milwaukee isn't completely unfamiliar to Boykins, as Boykins had arguably his best NBA season when he was with the Bucks in 2007.

In spite of his lack of height and championship pedigree, Boykins is a solid veteran who could also be signed at a bargain price.

Brian Scalabrine - PF

AGE: 32
EXP: Nine years
NBA Championship Rings: 1

Scal isn't your typical NBA player. The red-head from USC always hustles. Not the most talented, but a great role player, Scal won his title with the Celtics in 2008.

Theo Ratliff - C

AGE: 37
EXP: 15 years
NBA Championship Rings: 0

Ratliff would be a great fit behind Andrew Bogut at center. A defensive stalwart known for his great shot-blocking ability, Ratliff has led the league three times in BPG (blocks-per-game).

Michael Finley - SG

AGE: 37
EXP: 15 years
NBA Championship Rings: 1

Finley is familiar with Wisconsin, as he held the Wisconsin Badgers scoring record for 11 years until it was broken in 2007.

Finley is also familiar with winning as he has played on the dominant teams of the Suns, Mavs, Spurs, and Celtics, winning his championship ring with the Spurs back in 2007.

Steve Novak - SF

AGE: 27
EXP: Four years
NBA Championship Rings: 0

Novak, like Finley, is familiar with Wisconsin. A native Wisconsinite, Novak was named Wisconsin High School Boys Basketball Player of the Year back in 2002.

He also was part of the Marquette team that advanced to the Final Four his freshman year. Novak is tall for a SF at 6'10"; however, he knows how to shoot the three-ball, as he even competed in the ESPN College Three-Point Shootout in 2006.

Travis Diener - PG

AGE: 28
EXP: Five years
NBA Championship Rings: 0

This is the last Wisconsinite, I promise. Diener a native of Fon du Lac, WI was also a part of the 2003 Marquette Final Four team. If he can regain his 2007-08 form—where he averaged 6.9 PPG, 3.8 APG, and shot 90 percent on free throw's—Diener could be a nice addition to the Bucks.

Jerry Stackhouse - SG

AGE: 35
EXP: 15 years
NBA Championship Rings: 0

Stackhouse was a great leader for the Bucks this past year. If they could re-sign him to a two-year deal he could be a steal.

Kurt Thomas - C

AGE: 37
EXP: 15 years
NBA Championship Rings: 0

Thomas did everything he was asked of by the Bucks. He played defense and rebounded. When Bogut went down, he did an admirable job filling in.

Like Stackhouse, Thomas was a leader and if he could be retained for another year or two the Bucks would benefit greatly.

Who did I forget?
