Enough Already: Quit Crying and Pay for the NFL Network
It's an age in which we're all trying to "show up" the neighbors.
You know how it goes—you buy a flashier car, a bigger pool, even a more cutting-edge TV.
And yet some of us refuse to pony up for premium cable channels.
This Thursday will see the biggest matchup ever on the NFL Network—the 10-1 Green Bay Packers against the 10-1 Dallas Cowboys, for likely home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs
Sounds like a great game, right?
The only problem is many fans won't be able to watch it.
Or maybe just don't want to watch it.
No one complained last year when the NFL Network featured some of the worst pairings of the year. Now fans don't want to miss the big game.
But they don't have to.
It's not like the NFL Network isn't widely available, or like it costs an arm and a leg.
The price tag?
About seven bucks a month—a pretty reasonable offer for you "diehard" fans.
The American people want things handed to them on a silver platter. That's not the way the world works. Quit crying about the NFL Network costing too much—because it doesn't.
No matter how much you moan, your ticket to the big game is still just a phone call away.
