With the recent end of the World Cup, now is the time for international football fans to return rooting for their favorite football clubs around the world for the next season as we get to see some great players move to different sides to become better.
Also with these new players, we get to see some some great hairdos come to their new city as it is one of the most identifiable traits on a footballer.
With this in mind, here are The 20 Best Haircuts on the Transfer Market‏
No. 20 Dijibril Cisse
Club: Panathinaikos
Clubs Linked to: Tottenham
Always linked to having one of the most recognizable hairdos in football, Dijibril Cisse currently has a blonde mohawk with a blonde beard.
It certainly is better than his old hairdo's, but right now it finds itself on the bottom of this list.
No. 19 Aristide Bance
Club: Mainz
Clubs Linked to: Blackburn, Stoke City and Sunderland.
Expected to come to the Premier League, Aristide Bance is also going with a blonde look here, with blonde spikes.
He also has some blonde residue off of his spikes.
No. 18 Gregory van der Wiel
Club: Ajax
Clubs Linked to: Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Aston Villa.
Even though he doesn't have as great of a hairdo now (as he has a crew cut), Gregory van der Wiel's "old" hair still deserves a mention here.
van der Wiel's hair was short with short curls coming up out of the top (evident in the picture above) before getting the locks cut.
No. 17 Sami Khedira
Club: Stuttgart
Clubs Linked to: Chelsea and Real Madrid.
Khedira was of the key Germans during their third place finish in South Africa, Sami Khedira has a common hairstyle that could be with him with a bigger side next fall.
Khedira has his hair slicked back with a handband, which despite being common, works well for him.
No. 16 Neven Subotic
Club:Borussia Dortmund
Clubs Linked to: Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea.
After his first World Cup in South Africa last month, former United States U-20 Neven Subotic appears ready to make a big money move.
Subotic has a slicked back hairstyle with the hair getting "wild" after the headband on the top of his head.
No. 15 Jo
Club: Galatsaway
Clubs Linked to: Valencia and West Ham United.
A player that always finds himself with a new club every several months, Jo once again finds himself likely to get shipped out by Manchester City before fall.
Jo has a short afro on the top of his head (which is much shorter than his prior 'fro).
No. 14 Luis Suarez
Club: Ajax
Clubs Linked to: Juventus, Manchester United, Barcelona, and Chelsea.
Luis Suarez might have had a memorable World Cup for his handball against Ghana in the 120th minute on the goalline, but he also has a great head of hair.
He wears a good amount of gel in his hair, and also has a tuft of hair right near his forehead from that gell.
No. 13 Alexis Sanchez
Club: Udinese
Clubs Linked to: Manchester United, Liverpool, Lyon, and Chelsea.
Chile's main World Cup star, Alexis Sanchez appears ready for a major transfer in the coming weeks.
With Sanchez will go his hair, which looked like a mohawk during the World Cup.
No. 12 Mario Balotelli
Club: Inter Milan
Clubs Linked to: AC Milan, Manchester City, Arsenal, and Chelsea.
Another player with a mohawk, Mario Balotelli also appears ready to be leaving an Italian side for England in the coming weeks, despite not playing in the World Cup.
Balotelli recently went with a mohawk with Inter during the Serie A campaign, but that could change as the rift between Balotelli and Inter widens.
No. 11 Mesut Ozil
Club: Werder Breman
Clubs Linked to: Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Barcelona, and Inter Milan.
The German Sensation in the World Cup, Mesut Ozil's hair is pretty similar to Barcelona and Argentina star Lionel Messi's hair last year.
With a "businessman-like" hairstyle, Ozil has matured from the crazy hair he had in the last several years.
No. 10 Keisuke Honda
Club: CSKA Moscow
Clubs Linked to: Marseille, AC Milan, Galatasaray and Chelsea.
Japan's best player in the World Cup, Keisuke Honda appears like he will be making a major money move within the next several weeks out of Russia.
Overall, Honda also had one of the best head's of hair in the World Cup, as his blonde hair that spikes up in the middle was recognizable when he scored his huge goals for Japan.
No. 9 Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Club: Barcelona
Clubs Linked to: Chelsea and Manchester City.
One of the top transfer targets every year, Zlatan Ibrahimovic's hair has become one of his most recognizable features.
Ibrahimovic is known for wearing a hairband to keep back his long hair throughout the last several years, and that could be going to England very soon.
No. 8 Cesc Fabregas
Club: Arsenal
Clubs Linked to: Barcelona
Arsenal's captain has always been known to have a great head of hair throughout the years.
Even though he has cut most of the top of his hair off, he still has the iconic sideburns and who knows; maybe that hair will be regrown with Spain's World Cup victory?
No. 7 Diego Benaglio
Club: Wolfsburg
Clubs Linked to: Arsenal and Manchester United.
Switzerland's goalkeeper in the World Cup, Diego Benaglio showed that he has a simple yet effective hairstyle.
This consists of the top of his hair pushed up slightly with some hair gel, something that was used by Benaglio when the Swiss beat Spain.
No. 6 Steven Pienaar
Club: Everton
Clubs Linked to:Arsenal, Tottenham, Bayern Munich, and Liverpool.
Not the first South African footballer with long, braided hair, Steven Pienaar was able to show off his hair in the World Cup for Bafana Bafana.
Pienaar might still have the hair for the Toffee's this upcoming season, or he could be moving elsewhere if Everton cannot get him a contract that he is pleased with.
No. 5 David Luiz
Club: Benfica
Clubs Linked to: Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid, and Barcelona.
A major part of Benfica's back during their Portuguese Liga title last season, David Luiz and his hair might be going elsewhere soon as he looks to break into Brazil's senior squad.
Luiz's hair is long enough that it looks like a blonde streak when he runs at times (which you could see in the picture above).
No. 4 Fernando Torres
Club: Liverpool
Clubs Linked to: Chelsea, Manchester City, and Manchester United.
He might have shorter hair now, but Fernando Torres still has an incredible head of hair, which he has shown us the last several years for Liverpool.
Torres has worn a headband in his hair to help keep it in place, and it often can go up and down when Torres is fully fit (which might not be guaranteed until after the Premier League season starts).
No. 3 Gervinho
Club: Lille
Clubs Linked to: Barcelona and Arsenal.
One of the younger players on the Ivory Coast in this World Cup, Gervinho showed the world that he is fighting hair loss, but that still has not stopped him.
Gervinho has decided to braid his hair and put it to the sides, which despite showing his forehead, makes him extremely recognizable.
No. 2 Marek Hamsik
Club: Napoli
Clubs Linked to: Manchester City, Chelsea, and Manchester United.
One of the craziest players when it comes down to hairstyles, Marek Hamsik was able to captain his Slovakian side into the round of 16 in their first World Cup with the help of his spiked hair.
His haircut was one of the best cuts for the World Cup, and it will be interesting to see if he will have it on in Italy in the next couple of weeks.
No. 1 Siphiwe Tshabalala
Club: Kaizer Chiefs
Clubs Linked to: Wigan Athletic, Hannover and Paris St. Germain.
The man who had an incredible goal celebration for South Africa in the World Cup, Siphiwe Tshabalala also has an incredible long hair style.
Tshabalala's hair is braided all the way down to the middle of his neck, and he also had a great World Cup with that hair.
