Why the Georgia Bulldogs Should Be in the SEC Title Game

Icon Sports MediaThe Georgia Bulldogs had an excellent season—both in the SEC and in general—and with the way Stafford played this year, there is no question in my mind that the Bulldogs are better than the Vols.

Now I know that Tennessee beat Georgia at home, but I just don't think the Vols are the better team.

When the the Georgia-Florida Game was being played, a lot of ESPN Experts predicted the Gators to win the game—but the Bulldogs had a different anwser.

With Tim Tebow getting so much pressure in that game from Georgia's defense, one can't help but wonder...was Georgia the best team in the SEC East?

Yes, they were—because of the way the Bulldogs came into every game fighting like it was the conference title game, they showed me that they are in fact the best team in the SEC East.

In the Kentucky matchup last week, Andre Woodson and the Wildcats could have sent Georgia to the SEC Title game, but Tennessee simply got lucky when QB Andre Woodson did an option play and fell short of tieing the game in the 4th Overtime.

In this SEC East Conference, there is only one team that should go to the title game.  That team is the Georgia Bulldogs.
