The Ultimate PPV: Matches I Would Pay to See, Past and Present Stars

A. Version 2.0Analyst IIJuly 14, 2010

Over the past couple of months here on B/R, I have seen many interesting articles concerning TNA vs. WWE and all the potential matches that could occur between the two respective companies.

Well, sorry for the let down but, this article isn't exactly dealing with that.

When, I look back on the history of pro wrestling, I think back on all the amazing wrestlers that we all have witnessed. And, all the dream matches that we never witnessed.

So through this article, I have decided to create the perfect PPV.

This PPV features my favorite wrestlers going up against each other. So, you could see any wrestler in the PPV.

There are some matches that are just made in heaven, and I believe that these matches were truly made in heaven.

I kinda let my inner kid out and went a little crazy with the match selections, and for some of the matches, I even put some titles at stake.

Since this is the perfect PPV, I have included 7 good matches (hey, it's my article).

Even, though the IWC isn't a huge fan of  John Cena, I have included him in the PPV because he is the pinnacle of a wrestling superstar.

I hope you all like the selections I have made and please give me your picks.

This is like a card so, the last match is the main event.

Fatal 4-Way-World Heavyweight Championship Match

1. World Champion Triple H vs. Goldberg vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Brock Lesnar

I say let's start the match out with a bang, with a fatal 4-way match that features 4 of the biggest names in the history of pro wrestling.

This match might immediately be dismissed by the IWC but, come on you all know you would kill to see this.

Four power house wrestlers and four amazing champions slugging it out for the Big Gold Belt.

WINNER: Brock Lesnar

4-Team TLC Match- Unified Tag Team Title Match

2. The Hardy's vs. The New Age Outlaws vs. MCMG vs. RVD and Sabu

This match could steal the whole show and only two men in the entire match have been World Champion.

Just think about it, four extremely athletic teams gunning it out for the tag team titles.

I considered The Dudley Boyz but, they never did anything incredibly athletic in the TLC matches at Wrestlemainia. All, four of these teams are simply perfect, each partner in the team complements his partner's weaknesses.

WINNER: The New Age Outlaws

Past vs. Present Match

3. John Cena vs. The Rock

The face of the WWE vs. the face of the WWF.

This would be more intense than Hogan and Andre The Giant.

Do we even know who would dominate this match? Do we know who would get booed?

I wanted to put this in the main event, but due to three tag matches on the card, I scheduled this as the third match to not make it tag match after tag match.

WINNER: The Rock

4. TNA vs. WWE-Elimination Tag Match (Current stars only)

Team WWE: Edge, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, CM Punk and Jack Swagger

Team TNA: Samoa Joe, Mr. Anderson, D'Angelo Dinero, Jay Lethal and Wolfe

The WWE stars vs the TNA stars.

This would be such an exciting match. None of the wrestlers in this match is a bad wrestler and all are future world champion caliber wrestlers.

Could you imagine Joe and Swagger?

So much better then WWE vs. The Alliance.

Past vs. The Present Match-TNA Heavyweight Title Match

5. Shawn Michaels vs. TNA Champion AJ Styles

The second "Past vs Present" match would be this.

AJ Styles can already put on a great match now. You put him up against a Shawn Michaels who is in his prime and this match will be a full five stars.

Although Styles has a few more athletic moves in his arsenal, both men resemble each other in fighting styles.

Legend vs. Legend Match

6. Sting vs. The Undertaker

Like I stated before, certain matches are just made in heaven, and this is one of them.

Combining an amazing 17 Heavyweight Titles, both wrestlers have similar wrestling styles, both have submission moves and both have power in their arsenal.

Who would win this thing? Hmmmm.

WINNER: The Undertaker

60-Minute Iron Man Match-WWE Championship Title Match

7. WWE Champion Kurt Angle vs. Bret Hart

Two of the greatest of all time in this industry will wrap the night up.

I want to see this thing unfold so, I'm putting them in a Iron Man Match.

Kurt Angle obviously has as much stamina as anyone who has ever wrestled and Bret Hart has been in a couple of amazing Iron Man Matches.

For any rookie wanting to get in the business, this would be the match to study.

WINNER: Kurt Angle
