Now with the move of LeBron all the clowns from Cleveland (Dan Gilbert)(cough, cough) are talking like LeBron is a useless player...I disagree completely but there is a twist at the top of the list.
These are older guys I am predicting to have good seasons when people might be writing them off.
Kevin Garnett-I believe KG is getting healthier and will surprise a few people with a strong regular season, and of course be great in the playoffs like he has been since he has got to Boston....watch out for KG to show you that the knee is getting better.
Tim Duncan-Like fellow Hall of Famer KG, Duncan has been written off by people.A lot of people think that he is now to old to play at his same level...I agree that he is not the same, but he is still a great player and it is still his team.(Sorry Manu, and Tony P)
Shaquille O'Neal-I Know you might think I am crazy saying Shaq will have a good year, but i think that he could be a great piece to a team like the Heat...that's only if he swallows his EGO and accepts a back-up role for a contender or a starting role for a contender like the Heat because they need a center but the Heat can't pay him what he wants...so if Shaq wants one more good year then he better swallow his EGO.
Stephen Curry-If you were watching the second half of last season, then you know how good Stephen Curry is.In my opinion(and i am not the only one) Curry was the best rookie in the second half of the year. That is why he will break-out this year and know he has David Lee and the West got worse so my early prediction is the Warriors will be a 6,7,or 8 seed in the West next season.
J.J Hickson-Although the Cavs are going to struggle without LBJ, I believe Hickson is going to get good minutes and I feel that he is going to play great with more opportunity, but this is a wild-card pick.He could be terrible next season because when you take a star off a team the guys who looked good because of the star come back to being the bad players they were before they played with that star.So wild-card but I believe he will break-out.
Michael Beasley-Everyone knows Beasley has talent, but nobody knows how hard he is going to work to become a good NBA player.I don't know how good he could be, but now that he is out of Wade's shadows, I think he could be a good scorer in Minnesota.
Joe Johnson-Everyone is talking about how Amar'e isn't worth the money he is going to get, well look at the deal the Hawks gave Joe Johnson.I will say it until I am blue in the face.JOE JOHNSON IS NOT WORTH A MAX CONTRACT!!
Mo Williams-Everyone is going to realize that the only reason Mo Williams was an All-Star was because of LBJ.I think Mo Williams is going to struggle very badly this year and people are going to see the real Mo Williams.
John Wall-After being the first pick in the draft there are high expectations for Wall.I am not saying that he isn't going to be a good pro but for this year he is going to struggle if he has to play with Arenas, also he is not going to be the Rookie of the Year because two rookies are better right now. Those guys are:
Player of the Year Evan Turner, and last years first overall pick:Blake Griffin.
11.) Dwight Howard-After that playoff series against Perkins it proved he has no post moves, all he can do is overpower his defenders, and thats why Perkins can stop him.
12.) Steve Nash-He proved in the playoffs how good he still is and he made Amar'e the 100 million dollar player he is today, and he is molding Dragic to fill in for him soon.
13.) Chris Bosh-Bosh was a star in Toronto but proved he is a number 2 option because if he was a number 1 he would have led Toronto to the playoffs.Toronto had a better supporting cast then Miami but Bosh who is a very good player was just not a good number 1.Now he is the number 3.
14.) Carlos Boozer-I believe that Boozer was overlooked in free agency because of his size. Although Amar'e got more doesn't mean he is better.Boozer is more skilled then Amar'e and if I could take one for my team I would take Boozer.
15.) Amar'e Stoudemire-Although New York gave him 100 million he isn't worth that.He is a good player but he is going to prove this year he isn't a GREAT player.
16.) Paul Pierce-After the impressive push through the playoffs Paul Pierce proved he is still a very good NBA player.
Gasol had a great NBA Finals...some people thought he should have been the MVP. I agree he played great but he is still a sidekick. Last year he was the best sidekick in the NBA, now he is the second best sidekick in the NBA. Very good player but still a number 2 not a number 1.
STATS: PPG: 18.3, APG: 3.4, RPG: 11.3
Some people think that Pau Gasol has passed him as the NBA's most skilled big man. I completely disagree. Dirk is a Number 1 option. Gasol already proved in Memphis he is not a Number 1 option he is a Number 2 option. Just like Bosh, Gasol is a very good player just not a Number 1 option, but Dirk is a proven Number 1 Option. Oh yeah also he is kind of CLUTCH.

Right now I have Chris Paul as the 3rd best point guard in the NBA. People might argue he is better then Rondo. I think Rondo has proven he is legit and he plays better in the playoffs, so that is why i have him better then Paul. Also Paul hasn't played in awhile. So I got Rondo ahead of Paul.
STATS: PPG: 18.7, APG: 10.7, RPG: 4.2
If you still don't respect Rondo then you don't know what good basketball is. Rondo has proven that he is legit, especially in the true season....The Playoffs. Also Rondo carried the Celtics to Game 7 of the NBA Finals. So that is why he is the second best point guard in the NBA. Also Rondo is the only NBA player besides Jason Kidd that can control the game if he has 0 points.
STATS: PPG: 13.7, APG: 9.8, RPG: 4.4
Although Denver got eliminated early it wasn't because of Melo as he averaged 30.7 points and 8.5 rebounds. But not just that he has proven that he is one of the NBA's best players. He can score with ease and he is also a good rebounder.
STATS: PPG: 28.2. APG: 3.2, RPG: 6.6
Everybody knows how great Rondo and Paul are but not to many guys if anybody would say Williams isn't the best point guard in the NBA. He can do it all if you need him to score he does it with ease. If you want him to get people involved he will do that with ease...and oh yeah hes a good rebounder as well. He is an all-around great basketball player.
STATS: PPG: 18.7, APG: 10.5, RPG: 4.0
By now who isn't sold on the 22 year old phenom, who lead the NBA in scoring this year. And him and Russel Westbrook lead the Thunder to 50 wins. Durant is also a first team all NBA player.
STATS: PPG: 30.1, APG: 2.8, RPG: 7.6
I know you might be thinking that this is just an angry Cleveland fan. Well your wrong because i think that Cleveland is a pathetic sports city and i think LeBron made the right decision to get away from that pathetic owner and city. But LeBron is now a sidekick to a better player. I have felt Wade was always better but didn't get the credit until now when LeBron who is an GREAT NBA player, but he is not as good as Wade.
STATS: PPG: 29.7, APG: 8.6, RPG: 7.3
Some people might argue that LeBron is better i completely disagree. Yes LeBron deserved the MVP this year but the year before Wade was the best player in the league. Also in the Olympics Wade was the best player on the team. And if it wasn't for Kobe's 5 rings and him being more clutch i would put Wade ahead of him, but out of respect for Kobe I will give him the number 1 spot. Oh yeah by the way the Heat is still Wades Team and Bosh and LBJ are his sidekicks.
STATS: PPG: 26.6, APG: 6.5, RPG: 4.8
What else can you say about Kobe? Right now he is the best player in the game and he proved it by getting his fifth ring. And although he struggled in game 7, he came through when it mattered most in the last 6 minutes of Game 7. And although I think Wade is on the verge of surpassing Kobe, that hasn't happened and knowing Kobe I doubt that will happen anytime soon.
STATS: PPG: 27.0, APG: 5.0, RPG: 5.4
