After a terrific World Cup, many soccer fans will now begin to focus more on the summer transfer window.
Over the last few weeks, many big names have been mentioned in trade talks.
Every team is looking to assemble the best roster possible. and for teams like Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea, that means buying large contracts.
On the following slides are the latest soccer transfer rumors. Hope you enjoy!
Wesley Sneijder
After winning the UEFA Champions League title with Inter Milan and reaching the World Cup finals with the Netherlands, Weley Sneijder is poised for another pay day.
According to multiple reports, Manchester United is considered one of the favorites to land Sneijder should he leave Inter.
Sneijder's Dutch teammate, Arjen Robben, claims "there is a very good chance he will join Man United. I am a big admirer of Paul Scholes, he is one of the best players of his generation and I honestly think Sneijder is the only player in the world capable of replacing him."
Sir Alex Ferguson has been downplaying talks with Sneijder, but sources claim Old Trafford is willing to give Inter £25 million for Sneijder's services.
Mesut Ozil
Throughout the World Cup, many Premier League teams had their eyes on Mesut Ozil, the 21-year-old German midfielder.
Ozil spent last season with Werder Breman, but many teams including Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal considered bidding for his services.
Although Ozil could have easily played in the EPL, he has expressed his loyalty to Werder Breman and will remain there for the season.
"Bremen wants me to fulfill the contract and so do I," he said.
"I have always said that I want to fulfil my contract; that is important to me."
Luis Fabiano
Although Manchester United doesn't need a striker, the team is considering an offer for Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano.
Fabiano is perhaps one of the most skilled forwards in the game. During the 2010 FIFA World Cup, Fabiano lead Brazil to the quarterfinals but the team's run ended when it lost to the Netherlands 2-1.
Many analysts consider Man U to be behind AC Milan in the Fabiano race. There is still a pretty good chance he will remain on Sevilla this season.
Felipe Melo
According to the Italian soccer website Tuttosport, Arsenal is considering a swap for Juventus midfielder Felipe Melo.
In exchange for Melo, Arsenal may have to give up Gael Clichy.
Last season, Melo moved from Florentina and has never lived up to his 26 million fee.
A change of scenery may be a good move for both Melo and Juventus.
Arsenal would acquire a talented player that could succeed with a change of scenery.
Didier Drogba
Over the past few years, Didier Drogba has become a household name.
The Ivory Coast star has scored 84 goals during his six-year stint at Chelsea and has lead the team to the top of the English Premier league.
Drogba is also lauded for his great play for Ivory Coast and his philanthropic endeavors.
At the age of 32, many people are wary of Drogba's health. Drogba has suffered injuries both late in 2008 and more recently during practice for the FIFA World Cup.
As dynamic as Drogba is, Chelsea may consider a 20 million euro transfer fee from Manchester City.
There is no guarantee Drogba will repeat the success he had last season and trading him would move Chelsea in a different direction.
Manchester City has significantly upgraded its roster during the past few seasons, but still lacks a striker to complement Carlos Tevez. Adding Drogba would give Man City one of the best front lines in football.
James Milner
In May of this year, Aston Villa rejected a 20 million transfer fee from Manchester City for James Milner.
James Milner is widely regarded as one of the best English midfielders, having played brilliantly for Aston Villa during the last two seasons.
Although Aston Villa rejected Man City's first offer for Milner, the team is still committed to obtaining him.
In the next few days, Man City may offer a transfer fee as high as 30 million for Milner. The team has already spent a lot of money during the transfer window (David Silva) and its ownership is willing to take on additional contracts.
My best guess is Milner will be playing for Manchester City this season as the transfer fee will be too high for Aston Villa to refuse.
Fernando Torres
At the beginning of the summer transfer window, it appeared Fernando Torres was available for loan from Liverpool, but after an apparent groin injury and a disappointing World Cup, this does not seem to be the case.
A few months ago, Man City and Chelsea were considered favorites to land Torres should he live Liverpool. Liverpool was seventh last season in the EPL and needed a big shakeup.
Some news outlets reported teams would be willing to pay over 60 million to land Torres.
After Spain beat the Netherlands in the World Cup final, Torres was seen wearing a Liverpool scarf, thus confirming his allegiance to Roy Hodgson's squad.
Landon Donovan
After a superb World Cup and a stellar season with Everton, Landon Donovan will be a hot commodity on the transfer market.
Currently, Donovan is on loan to Everton and is owned by the Los Angeles Galaxy
According to multiple reports, Manchester City is considering buying Donovan's contract with Everton for 12 million euros.
Donovan has expressed interest in remaining with Everton and the team is fully committed to its star striker.
Look out for Everton to obtain Donovan's exclusive rights year round.
Nemanja Vidic
Manchester United is in danger of losing one of the best defenders in the world to its rival, Real Madrid.
According to numerous sources, Real Madrid has considered offering 25 million for the rights to Vidic.
Many people believe Vidic is unhappy in England and a change of scenery would be better for his family and career.
It will be extremely difficult for Man U to part with a solid defender like Vidic but for the right price, Sir Alex Ferguson may have to consider a deal.
Mark Schwarzer
Arsene Wenger, the head coach of Arsenal, had made bolstering his defense one of the team's primary goals.
Numerous websites have reported that Wegner has decided to sell Manuel Almunia to Atletico Madrid in an effort to obtain Mark Schwarzer, the Fulham goalkeeper.
Many soccer analysts regard Schwarzer as one of the best goalies in the world but his age (37) brings down his value.
Nevertheless, Arsenal is rumored to offer well over 10 million for Schwarzer.
Signing Schwarzer makes a lot of sense for the Gunners and will provide much needed experience and stability to Arsenal's defense.
