Now that the sports world can be satisfied with the landing of the "Big Three" in Miami, should they consider adding one more?
This team has the potential to dominate the NBA for years to come with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, and...Allen Iverson?
The veteran guard is looking for a place to play, which will welcome him in with open arms.
Oh yeah, one other plus is that he'll be playing with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh: The newly formed NBA Dream Team.
This all-star cast could use a player like Iverson, and Iverson could use an all-star cast like in Miami.
Here are five reasons why Iverson should join the "Big Three" in Miami.
Miami Could Use a Veteran Point Guard
There was a time when Allen Iverson would not be considered a point guard.
He was a pure shooting guard who wanted the ball in his hands when the game was on the line.
But after maturing and his experiences in the league, Iverson has transformed into a good point guard capable of seeing the court.
His passing abilities are underrated, and if Miami decides to let A.I. join the cast, he will be able to set his teammates up with his quickness and court vision.
Which brings me to my next point.
LeBron James Would Benefit from an Allen Iverson Addition
LeBron James can make his own shot opportunities.
He has the incredible ability to score points out of nothing.
But, what if he also had Allen Iverson there to give him easy shot opportunities?
LeBron would deal with less fatigue that comes with creating, and would have many more chances to score points easily.
Iverson would be able to give him easy dunks and open looks at the basket with his court vision.
Allen Iverson is Ready to Contribute
Allen Iverson now has his family issues out of the way, and he is ready to contribute to a team in any way that he can.
He is focused on basketball, and is ready to head to Miami and make them a better team.
It's hard to make Miami better now that they have one of the best teams ever assembled, but Iverson would be a good addition and would improve their depth at the guard position.
He is a former league MVP, and is ready to bring his experience to Miami.
Iverson Wants to Win a Championship
I think a big reason why Allen Iverson is still looking to play is to finally win that elusive championship.
In Philadelphia, Iverson had a hope to win at least one when they went one game up on the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals. But the Lakers proved to be too dominant, as they won the series 4-1.
Denver seemed to be a good fit for A.I. after his time in Philadelphia, but that was a failed experiment, as Denver seemed to lose its dominance in the West.
With LeBron, Wade, and Bosh all in Miami, he can be sure there will be championships to be won.
Allen Iverson Can Find a Home in Miami
It's been a long journey for A.I.
He has visited many teams looking for that perfect fit for his talents.
Philadelphia, Memphis, Denver, Detroit, and finally I think he can land in Miami and find the success that he has been looking for.
His quickness, defensive abilities, court vision, and scoring ability will be a welcome addition for the Miami Heat for the remaining years of Iverson's career.
