According to The Pro Wrestling Torch, TNA superstar Jeff Hardy is due back in court today to face drug charges stemming from his Sept. 11, 2009, arrest. His trial will take place in the Superior Court of Moore County in Carthage, N.C.
According to court records, Hardy is still facing four counts of drug possession. After his last court appearance in June, there was a discrepancy on whether three of the four counts were dropped.
Hardy is scheduled for Superior Court along with 30 other defendants for the morning session at 9:30 a.m. Last month, Hardy was granted a continuance of his case until today, due to the court running out of time during the morning session.
The list of charges against Jeff Hardy are as follows:
1. Felony drug trafficking. Two felony charges of possession of a Schedule lll controlled substance or drug.
2. Felony possession of cocaine. Felony maintaining of a dwelling for redistribution of controlled substances.
3. Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
4. Conspiracy to traffic opium (new charge added-January 2010).
The Honorable Judge James M. Webb will preside over the case.
