Move over indeed Tony Romo. It appears the long time object of Cowboys fans' disdain is officially over the Dallas Cowboys quarterback. TMZ.com reported yesterday that the singer/actress is now involved with another (former) NFL figure.

I'm sure many Cowboys fans, were relieved to hear the news that the woman they projected angst to is now locked up with another player. Will this one last? Could it compare to the sheer entertainment Jessica provided us with her past relationships?

New Man

The new man in Jessica's life is former San Francisco 49ers and New Orleans Saints tight end Eric Johnson. Johnson played five seasons in the NFL between 2001 and 2008. He spent the first four in San Francisco before playing his last year with the Saints.

Non-Superstar WAG

Unlike her NFL boyfriend, Johnson is a relative unknown. Johnson hauled in 240 catches for 2,178 yards in his career. His best season came in 2004 when he had 82 catches for 825 yards and two touchdowns.

Rebound WAG

Johnson and Simpson reportedly began dating Simpson last month, just four months after he filed for a divorce from his first wife.

The Legacy

Cowboys fans can breathe easy now that Simpson is off the market again. Simpson's two-year relationship with quarterback Tony Romo was littered with anxiety and even hatred at the starlet's appearance alongside Romo and in the luxury suites at Texas Stadium.

Yoko Romo

That was the name bestowed upon Simpson for Romo's poor playing during their fling. Much like Yoko Ono is viewed as breaking up the Beatles, "Yoko Romo" was seen as nothing but a detriment to Tony Romo's career.

"The Vacation"

Simpson became the bane of every Cowboys fan existence in late 2007 when it was reported she and Romo took off to Mexico during the bye week before the Cowboys divisional playoff game against the Giants.

The Cowboys lost and Simpson became as desirable as a wart in Dallas.

"Jessica Jinx"

Even the biggest Cowboys fan in Texas, former President George W. Bush, couldn't get away without knocking Jessica after the Cowboys playoff loss to the Giants.

At the traditional winner's ceremony at the White House celebrating the Giants' Super Bowl victory, Bush shared his thoughts on the so-called "Jessica Jinx" and went as far as to say he'd send her to the Democratic National Convention.

Broke It Off

Romo broke off the two-year relationship in July 2009, the night before her 29th birthday. Ouch. That's cold Tony.

Before Dallas

Before Tony Romo and Dallas, there was Nick Lachey and USC. In the days before jumping up and down in Jerry Jones' suite, Simpson was often spotted on the sidelines at USC games alongside former husband Nick Lachey.

Newlyweds

Simpson, who married Lachey when she was 22 years old, starred with her then-husband on MTV's show "Newlyweds". It was then we got introduced to her one-of-a-kind "brilliance".

The First Break Up

After three years of marriage to the man Simpson contends she lost her virginity to (yea, remember that?), Simpson divorced Lachey in the winter of 2005.

Other Rumors

Following her divorce from Lachey, Simpson was rumored to have brief flings with comedian Dane Cook and Maroon 5 guitarist Adam Levine.
