Chelsea Signs Eight Academy Players to Professional Contracts

The changes at the lower levels of Chelsea continued today as eight Academy players signed professional contracts with the Blues.
They are: Aziz Deen-Conteh, Billy Clifford, Rohan Ince, George Saville, James Ashton, Milan Lalkovic, Philipp Prosenik, and Josh McEachran.
Six youngsters have been released by the Premier League champions.
Two of them are goalkeepers Niclas Heimann and Aldi Haxhia.
The remaining players moving on to new pastures are Nana Ofori-Twumasi, Nikki Ahamed, Liam Bridcutt, and Kenny Strickland.
The news comes on the day that the club takes on its latest batch of youth team players.
The Blues' Academy team won the FA Youth Cup for the first time in 49 years last season.
