Toronto Maple Leafs Go Back In Time For Third Jersey Design

Derek HarmsworthSenior Writer IJuly 27, 2008

As the NHL gets set to release the new RBK Edge third jerseys for the upcoming season, the Maple Leafs will, as expected, look to the past.

According to a few different sources, including Howard Berger, the Maple Leafs will go back to their old third jersey, which features the White shoulders, blue stripes, as well as the 35-point Maple Leaf design.

This is the classic jersey which the Maple Leafs used in the 1960s and early 1970s.

To see an exclusive article on a lot of other NHL third jerseys soon to be released, check out Howard Berger's Blog here.
