Azerbaijani Wonderkid Araz Abdullayev Set to Join Everton
According to reports from Azerbaijan, David Moyes is set to complete his fourth signing of the summer this week after 18-year-old Araz Abdullayev passed a physical at Finch Farm.
Everton has been known in the past for swooping up major talent at remarkably low prices and are hopeful that Abdullayev—as well as Jermaine Beckford, Joao Silva, and Magaye Gueye—can repay the club in the same manner as million-dollar signings Mikel Arteta and Tim Cahill.
The Azerbaijani international star will be joining the Liverpool side from national powerhouse Neftchi Baku and has already made history in his country by debuting in a World Cup qualifier at only 16 years of age.
It is still unknown whether or not he or any of the other signings will be sent out on loan as Everton's strikeforce nears double-digits. David Moyes has already sent Jose Baxter out to Oldham Athletic for the upcoming season and appears willing to offload both James Vaughan and Yakubu Aiyegbeni if the price proves right.
