Brock Lesnar Talks about Opponent Shane Carwin on ESPN SportsCenter

This morning, UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar appeared on ESPN 's SportsCenter to speak about his title defense this Saturday night at UFC 116 .

Shane Carwin (Interim champion) will be the man that will step inside of the world famous Octagon in hopes of dethroning Lesnar.

ESPN’s Josh Elliott asked Lesnar about his opponent Saturday night, and he had the following to say regarding Carwin.

“We didn’t leave any stone unturned and we’re ready for this fight,” he said.  “I already know I can beat Shane Carwin.”

In addition, Elliot informed Lesnar that Carwin came on the Wednesday broadcast and stated that he was going to knock Lesnar out. The champion responded:

“I guess we both got the same gameplan. I want to make something clear. I'm a Division I national champ and he’s not and I’m the UFC heavyweight champion and he’s not.”

The two colossal heavyweights will lock horns inside of the MGM Grand Garden Arena and only one can leave the UFC undisputed world heavyweight champion.

Note: A special feature for UFC 116 will be the airing of Friday’s weigh-ins live on Spike TV at Friday, July 2 at 7:00 p.m. ET.
