VANCOUVER--The Vancouver Canucks newest member Keith Ballard joins BMac and Rintoul this week, as he learned he is acquired from Panthers to the Vancouver Canucks. I listened in to the interview, and Keith has a few interesting things to say:

Keith played his 1st NHL game in Vancouver with the Phoenix Coyotes. He loves the atmosphere and the hockey team.

Keith mentioned that he has yet to enter a place where hockey is front and centre, now he is very excited to "take the next step" and go into a city where the expectation is winning every night.

He believes the Canucks have a Stanley Cup contending team, and looks forward to face the new challenge.

Keith Ballard has experience playing for Rick Bowness before in Phoenix, now he kind of reacquaints himself with Rick in Vancouver.

Keith admits he likes to play physical, chip in offensively, and take care of business in his own zone. Playing for Luongo is a good news for him...just don't whack Luongo's head off please!

That's about all that was heard in the interview, Ballard is very excited in joining the Canucks, and Victor Oreskovich will bring some size and speed to the Canucks lineup.

This is Jofu saying so long from Vancouver.
