With the All-Star break fast approaching, the Fantasy baseball season has hit its midpoint.

Fantasy owners know whether they are contenders or pretenders at this point, yet it is not too late to make a push to the end. Here is a new crop of names sure not to disappoint.

Starting Pitchers in Focus: Carl Pavano

After posting an ERA over 4.00 in the first two months of the season, he has turned his season around in June. In his last five starts, he is 4-1 with a 2.25 ERA. He is holding opponents to a .186 batting average. Opponents have an OPS of .651, and he has a WHIP of 1.03 on the season.
