Down 0-3 to the Boston Bruins, the Bruins one step away from the Stanley Cup Finals in 2010. They needed one game, the 5th game went into Overtime… so in essence needed one goal.

Flyers won that game in Overtime and then went on to win the next 3, 4 straight, only done by 3 other teams in Sports History. The NHL 2010 Stanley Cup Season is one for the books.

Ever since the Philadelphia Mayor made a remark to the effect that he didn’t want another Championship in Philadelphia (referring to the Phillies at the time they were playing the Yankees) has either politically maneuvered away from any future Parade expenses, or has possible created another ‘jinx’ for those who believe in that stuff.. Do we need a mayor who does not want Sport Parades in ‘his’ city because of the expense to the City?
