England vs. Germany was men against boys. But the men of England are turning into the old men. By the time the 2014 World Cup in Brazil comes around, many of the players will be 'past it' and may not get chosen for the team.

David James will be 43. Steven Gerrard and John terry will be 34. Rio Ferdinand and Matthew Upson will be 35. Ledley King and Peter Crouch will be 33. Jamie Carragher and Emile Heskey will be 36. Stephen Warnock and Shaun Wright-Philips will be 32.

Maybe we need to follow in the footsteps of the German football team. They have formed a new youthful team from the last World Cup and this looks to have payed off.

They are winning and are showing they are up to the challenge of any team.

They have a big chance to go on and win the tournament.

This is what England needs to do. Take a look at all the youthful talent coming through.

There are a few young players on the current England squad. Wayne Rooney seems to have been around for ages, yet he is still only 23.

If they get a new youthful team, they will have a better chance of winning next time round.
