After Germany thrashed England and eliminated Fabio Capello’s team from the 2010 World Cup, we’re all about FUFs.
FUFs are frauen und freundinnen—that’s wives and girlfriends in German.
And what better way to celebrate die FUFfers than with the hot model partner of Germany’s outstanding midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger?
Meine herren, Sarah Brandner.
Bastian and Sarah met when she was still in school.
He was 22 and a soccer star for his club Bayern Munich and his country. She was 18.
Sarah first came to prominence when she was spotted supporting Bastian and Germany during the Euro 2008 tournament in Austria and Switzerland.
Like all German women, Sarah is good at carrying beer.
OK, so one in each hand may not seem extraordinary, but I bet you don't look that good when you’re coming back from the bar.
Just to prove that she is a proper German lady, Sarah is willing to dress up in traditional costume.
Sarah’s modeling career started when she was approached on the street at the age of 15.
Sarah was one of a number of models chosen to feature in the Sports Illustrated body painting issue.
Here she is half-wearing a Germany shirt.
Here is the couple posing like tourists in the street.
I suspect a guy asked them to pose for this photograph by pretending that he was a big Bayern Munich fan.
Bastian is lucky to be even in the shot.
