World Football: Man City Offers Robinho to Barcelona
June 27, 2010
As I reported almost three weeks ago (http://bleacherreport.com/articles/403206-robinho-to-barcelona ), it appears that Robinho may land in Barcelona after the World Cup.
According to the Catalan paper, Sport, the Manchester City board is looking to recoup at least half of the original value they paid Real Madrid for the Brazilian prior to the 2008-2009 season, which was a total of 46 million Euros.
Robinho's father, Gilvan de Souza, and agent, Evandro de Souza, met with Man City Head Gary Cook and General Manager Brian Maarwood to express the desire of the Brazilian star to play for the La Liga side once the World Cup is over.
