With the Group Stage of the 2010 FIFA World Cup completed and the teams through to the Round of 16 all settled, how have the players from Liverpool FC fared so far in the competition?

Twelve players from the current Liverpool squad went to South Africa with their respective nations and all but two have failed to reached the Round of 16.

Daniel Agger and Denmark were eliminated in the Group Stages despite Agger putting in strong performances in the matches.

The Dane has enhanced his reputation as one of Europe's premier young defenders.

Having confirmed his pledge to remain at Anfield despite all the uncertainty surrounding the place, Liverpool have a solid defender for the future.

Sotirios Kyrgiakos and Greece also failed to advance through the Group Stages.

Having missed their opening game defeat at the hands of South Korea, Kyrgiakos played in the remaining two fixtures against Nigeria and Argentina.
