Some satire.
Alright Bleacher Creatures its time to be honest if pro wrestling didn't have villians then we would be completly bored, I mean WWE and TNA would be so boring that you would probably not even bother to watch the entire show.
From Evolution to the Sprit Squad the past decade has had some of the dumbest and brilliant villians in all of pro wrestling.
Some still are and will forever be villians and others have changed their ways for now.
But, for this list just naming an entire group (like lets say The Legacy) would be boring, for this list I have broken it down and found 10 wrestlers that terrorized the wrestling fans this past decade.
Feel free to comment below if any of you have any better suggestions.
First Off The Honorable Mentions
CM Punk
Abyss
The Miz
Kane
Muhhamad Hussain
Daivari
Christian Cage
Robert Roode
Shane McMahon
Umaga
The Great Khali
Goldust
Gillberg
Paul Heyman
Jonathan Coachman
Scott Stiener
Team Canada (cheated a little bit since I can't mention groups)
Kevin Nash
Sorry, if I left anyone out.
10. King Booker
The wrestler King Booker will always be a favorite of mine because of his in-ring ability but, without a doubt King Booker was a jerk after he won the King Of The Ring Tournament.
If my memory is correct, he turned heel when he was in that rivalry with Chris Benoit for the United States Championship (one of the last good U.S. and or I.C. feuds) but, he went out of control after he became "King" Booker and dropped plan old Booker T.
You can't doubt his success though after adding the "King" he quickly became a WWE World heavyweight Champion.
9. Mr. McMahon
Shouldn't be a suprise that McMahon is listed , he has transformed the crown jewel of professional wrestling the WWE into a playbin for little kids.
Obviously, its no suprise to what Vince has done to the WWE with the new PG rating and the no blood policy, etc.
But, even without executively effecting the WWE he has still made wrestling fans hate his character.
He was in one of the most unprofessional matches ever againest his own daughter and then feuding with DX, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, John Cena, Bret Hart and Randy Orton is not going to help your popularity.
Mr. McMahon or Vince McMahon he might try to act nice but, there is always a catch in the end.
8. Jeff Jarrett
Boy you talk about villians all you have to do is listen to this guys intro music to know that he is a grade A bitch.
He basically carried TNA untill they got some serious exposure, so I'll give a credit for that but, his in ring tactics were decieving and cunning.
Whenever he hit his vintage Jarrett guitar to the head of another wrestler it made you want to get out your seat and choke him out.
At, this point he is completly washed up, he was a good wrestler but now TNA please just give him that last big pay check and get him out of the company.
7. Kurt Angle
Having Kurt Angle in your company means you have instant credibility but, unfortunatly it also means that you also have one of the greatest villians and most hated wrestlers ever also.
Don't get me wrong Angle can be the greatest good guy ever but, then he can also go on and on about the Gold Medal and how he won it with a broken freakin neck.
The height of his "bitchness" in WWE was probably when he was feuding with Cena and the peek of his hatred in TNA is probably when he held every single title. (which by the way was the dumbest thing I ever saw)
6. Chris Jericho
Chris Jericho is hands down my favorite wrestler all time next to Rob Van Dam, I mean have your seen his matches. But, forgetting how great he is in the ring there is no denying that Jericho is a certified donkey butt.
Jericho is the same as Kurt Angle is when he is a good guy he is the a greatest good guy ever but, when he is bad, boy he is good a being bad.
Hands down he is one of the top 2 or 3 top decorated athletes in the WWE, ifn't the most accomplished wrestler. The guy has held every single title there is to hold, from the Cruiser Weight Gold all the way to becoming an Undisputed World Champion (like he ever lets us forget).
I wish he would become Y2J again and drop the "Best In the World" act.
5. John "Bradshaw" Layfield
First off, outside of wrestling JBL really is rich from wise stock and financial investments and I'm sure he might give back to people less fortunate but, in the wrestling ring he wouldn't hesitate to tell us how much more fortunate he was then us.
Just like Jericho he never let us forget about how he was the longest WWE Champion in the past 15 years (think it was 15).
Oh, lets not forget about all those racial promos he had when he was about to face Eddie G. for the title, I mean if those won't make you wanna kill I don't know what will.
JBL (the character) shove all your money where the sun don't shine.
I will give him this though, he was a pretty good color commentator on SmackDown!.
4. Randy Orton
Right now he is the darling of the WWE but, lets not forget only a few months ago he was whining and crying about the WWE title and about how he should get a rematch with Cena.
In fact from when he was a member of Evolution all way untill this years Royal Rumble, for the most part he was a certified outlaw. The only time I can remember rooting for him before this year was when he was on team SmackDown and was facing team Raw at the Survivor Series a few years ago.
Honestly, I don't think it will be long untill he turns heel again, most likely after he reclaims the WWE Championship.
3. John Cena
The man that people either love or hate is at #3.
John Cena is beloved by the little kids ,just look at all the money the company makes off his merhcandise. Lets be honest he is the face of the PG Era, the WWE probably will never make him turn heel and he will be the WWE's superman for the next decade.
But, for those old school wrestling fans that grew up on guys like Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Iron Sheik, Hogan and others who know what real wrestling should look like they flat out hate Cena. I don't dislike him as much as others in fact on a scale of 1 to 10 on how much I like John, I'd probably give him a 7 or 8. Just, some people hate his skill set and hate the lack of real technical ability in his moves.
2. Edge
Edge started out the decade pretty cool as a member of a great tag team of Edge and Christian, with his partner he delivered some of the greatest matches in WWE history like the 2- three tag team TLC matches for the Tag Titles between The Hardy's and 3-D.
But, right around 2004 is when Edge started to go a bit crazy (total nut-case), he was finally getting a push for the WWE title at the right time and kept crying about how he was screwed out of the title or how he was screwed out of the opportunity for the gold.
Of, course Edge became the "Rated R Superstar" and won the Money In The Bank Ladder Match and of course 9 WWE World Championship Titles later we know what he's doing now.
1. Triple H
To anyone who thinks this is a suprise I just wanna ask you WERE YOU NOT WATCHING WHEN EVOLUTION WAS AROUND !
Triple H is good at what he does, sure we forgot about his past wrestling sins because of his popularity the past couple of years but, anyone who was watching wrestling the early part of the decade knows "The Game" was an ASS.
He used everthing he had the past decade to scratch and claw his way to the top, Evolution, DX, Vince, his wife and of course his close personal friend Mr. Sledge Hammer.
Between, the years of 2002 - 2006 this man was the WWE's best wrestler and the WWE's most hated wrestler.
And, that lands him on the # 1 spot.
