A.J. Feeley named the starting Quarterback for the Rams should come as no surprise.  This should come as being expected for a couple of reasons ranging from his knowlege Shumur's offense to the rediness of the Offensive Line.

The Rams brought Feeley into the fold because of his knowlege of the Shumur's Offense.  Becuase of his knowlege of the offense, he serves two purposes.  The first to run the offense until Bradford has the confidence to takeover.  The second he will help Bradford learn the Offensive Scheme.  All of this will take the pressure off of Bradford ot quickly learn, he can start the first game of the season.

Now, we come to the Offensive Line. Who really expects the Rams to start Bradford behind an unstable line. Thus the Rams would be wise not  to start Bradford until the line has stabilized.  This means that Feeley will te the hits until the line comes together as a unit. One can only hope the that will sooner then later for Feeley's sake.

Another reason that Feeley will be starting because, as of this writing Bradford has not signed a contract with the Rams. This means that if they don't sign before camp then he will miss some time in camp.  If he misses camp, he will be further behind in the learning curve; depending the lenght of  miss time.
