The rumors have been floating around for days now that Kim Kardashian has moved on to her next athlete.

Now People and US magazines have both confirmed that the serial WAG is dating Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin.

"They are dating but they don't want to rush anything," a source told People.

So now that Austin is in the Kardashian black book, where does he rank among the athletes Kim has been linked to?

How Does it Even Happen?

Kardashian reportedly met Austin at a Los Angeles restaurant.

"They exchanged numbers and have been talking ever since. They've had a few dates and it's going really well. They just really connected," the source told People.

Kim Doesn't Date Pirates

Kardashian has etched her name in the annals of WAG history over the last two years.

But if you play for the Pirates, Lions, or Clippers, don't even think about it.

The Kardashians are only linked to winners.

First There Was Reggie

The sports connection first came up with Saints running back, Reggie Bush.

The two were inseparable for much of 2009 leading up to the Saints' run to the Super Bowl.

There was even talk of an engagement in the days leading up to the big game.

Oh, No You Didn't

Kim loves the spotlight and just couldn't help herself after the Saints won.

She stormed the set of "NFL Total Access" and took over Bush's interview.

It was reportedly one of the last straws in the relationship.

Serious Rebound

In the weeks after the breakup, Kardashian hit the party and paparazzi circuit hard. She seemed intent on showing Reggie what he gave up.

Kardashian was briefly linked to the male version of her, soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo. It was right around the beginning of the World Cup.

Many in Portugal questioned the timing of the hookup, but after more than 30 rumored girlfriends, the Portuguese press knows not to question Ronaldo unless he fails on the pitch.

Who's More Successful?

The 29-year-old Austin has a long way to go in that category. He had an outstanding 2009 season but it didn't include a championship.

Bush now has a Super Bowl ring, while Ronaldo has a Champions League title in 2008 with Manchester United.

Notoriety

Ronaldo wins this title going away on the worldwide stage, but Bush definitely captures the title in the U.S.

Maybe this is the strategy for Kim. Downgrade from superstar to star and maybe you won't get dumped.

Who Makes Better Commercials?

Up until this point, Bush would have won the title just for volume here in the U.S.

But Ronalo's recent "Write the Future" ad during the World Cup ranks as one of the all-time classic commercials.

Austin: nothing. His freaky eyes make him a sex symbol, but that really hasn't led to any commercial endorsements.

Could This Be The One?

The Reggie Bush relationship had Kardashian ranked among the steadiest of the worldwide WAGs for almost two years.

Inside sources say that Kardashian doesn't want to be seen as a whorish figure. She's hoping the Austin relationship may lead to long-term, monogamous WAG stature.

The Winner

For now, Austin is definitely the plainest Jane that Kardashian has been linked to.

He has the least level of man whore stench around him, the lowest profile, and the least success.

This may be as low key as it gets for Kim. At least this stops us from the creepy cradle-robber talk and photos with Justin Bieber.
