The Amazing Adventures of me,, myself and a crazy little game called Fantasy Football.  It all happened so suddenly back in 2003 when "Big Joe" started a nifty league of football.  didnt really care about it at the time and the whole choose players from other teams to create YOUR OWN team, seemed Blasphemous!  But now ivebeen brainwashed into the whole competitive war of "I know more about football than you" type of game.  And for some damn reason my mother destroys everyone in our family league every year.  But not this year mother, NOT THIS YEAR!!!

What im lookin' at:
Mike Martz FINALLY left Detroit to help an even more offensively clueless team, the 49er's.  This may not be the best thing for the team, but the fantasy numbers will skyrocket for everyone on the offense.  I'm looking for Alex Smith to be the starter, i know, Nolan declared it anyone's game but Mike Martz will most likely want to mold this first rounder into his "boy".  Avoid the defense at all costs.  the first year of learning  pass happy Martz's schemes may take some time in learning it so the defense is going to be on the field 70% more than the offense will.

Rookie Kevin Smith for the Detroit Lions may be your 3rd maybe even 2nd rb you should take.  He almost beat Barry Sanders record is rushing yards in college, but the whole 450 carries is a little extreme.  on the upside, he will know what Jim Colleto wants in his one cut run scheme which he ran in college, and not only that but injury prone Brian Calhoun and fumbilitis infected Tatum Bell wont compete for the spot.

Eli Manning was amazing in the post season even becoming MVP in the superbowldefeating the heavily rated undefeated New England Patriots that would even inspire Rocky himself.  But his fantasy numbers were only so-so at best during the season and his recievers havent exactly improved drastically so i dontbelieve he should be your first QB, but second.

Who to take Adrian Peterson or LT?  Take LT.  He can run, he can catch, he is durable and he can even throw on occasion.  dont get me wrong, Adrian will  make huge numbers again but he is very overused being the only playmaker in the Vikings offense.  Defensive coordinaters will figure out sooner or late that they have no QB so Running the ball will become quite obvious.

Ill write more later, im going to buy another $10 magazine about football.
