T`was the Night before draft day, and all thirty teams

Were waiting on draft day to answer their dreams

John Wall to the Wizards, there is simply no doubt

Only thing that could stop him is a case of the gout

Up next are the Sixers, Evan Turner their choice

Philly fans may be tough, but they`ll surely rejoice

To the swampland we go where New Jersey picks third

Wes Johnson`s their guy was the last thing I heard

And with that Minnesota loses out on their man

Derrick Favors at four`s not a bad backup plan

Sacramento picks fifth, Demarcus Cousins been promised

The Kings have assured us, weight problems regardless

Now things start to get tricky, it`s anyone`s guess

Monroe to Golden State, to join in their mess

Detroit`s need to fill it`s hole at the five

Makes it seem that Ed Davis will likely arrive

The Clippers are next, small forwards their need

What better name then Al-Forouq Aminu indeed

With the ninth overall pick, New York will select

Oh wait it got traded, and no longer protect

Which means Utah gets lucky and like what they see

From Luke Babbitt the man they will play at the three

Now the Pacers should trade for a starting Point Guard

But they could not trade and instead draft Gordon Hayward

And with that we have covered the first ten draft picks

But the lotto’s not over, more franchises to fix

New Orleans just needs a quick fix with the draft

So Xavier Henry should provide a life raft

Memphis is another who needs just one more

Ekpe Udoh gets their foot in the door

Lucky 13`s Toronto`s, and their move must be bold

To draft Bosh a winner, Aldrich fits that mould

And to finish the lotto, Huston has the last pick

Patrick Patterson`s safe, on a team deep and thick

So with that I say sleep tight, the drafts almost here

So sit back, relax, and enjoy with a beer.
