I thought this is such a great article on the state of Tiger Woods head that I knew some folks on BR would enjoy seeing it.

The English bookmakers currently have Woods the favorite at 2 to one, 11/4, 3 to one and 7/2 (all around there) to win The Open at St Andrews. Interesting.

I thought his play last Saturday was very confident - just what he needed, but it didn't last. Maybe it is about focus combined with perspective - you have got to focus on the right thing to the exclusion of the trivial and you have to know the difference. Woods Sunday looked like he was just guessing, when pre meltdown he almost always looked like he knew the secret.

I wrote an article a while ago about how Woods' place in history would give him some bad dreams, and so far I've had no reason to change my position. But, I will admit that last Saturday gave me some pause.

Where can I comment?
