Former New York Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor was indicted on charges of rape, patronizing a prostitute, criminal sexual act, endangering the welfare of a child, and sexual abuse.

The indictment stems from his May sixth arrest at a Holiday Inn hotel in which Taylor allegedly paid a 16-year-old runaway girl $300 to have sex with him. The girl told investigators that she had been verbally threatened and physically assaulted.

She was allegedly brought to the hotel by a pimp who was later arrested by the police.

I will provide updates when more information becomes available.
