NBA Rewind: The Top Five Things That Would Have Changed the League

Many things have happe

ned in the NBA since 1946, the year it was founded. I've picked out the five things that would have rewrote history the most.

If just one of these things had happened, our views on the NBA would be much different.

I know some people are going to argue about some other event not being in here, so just make sure that it is realistic.

Like, the (place team here) drafting Gilbert Arenas in the first round. Arenas wasn't that good coming out of college, and if he was drafted in the first round, he would have never worked as hard to prove people wrong.

And don't mention a team that could have signed a player from free agency.

If a player was interested, then they would have signed with them in the first place.

Like, Tim Duncan signing with the Magic in 2000, right after he had just won a championship with the Spurs. Do you really think a guy like Duncan would leave a team right after winning a championship? And even if he didn't win one, he is too loyal to leave the Spurs.
