There's something about the slim frame and endless legs of a women's basketball player that make them irresistible.

Whether you think she's hot because she's a good player or you think she's a good player because she's hot, it's all irrelevant on this countdown.

We've got present stars, old favorites and a couple of aces in the hole that no one saw coming. Together, they all comprise the 10 hottest female basketball players of all-time.

10. Nicole "Hoopz" Alexander

Okay, so she doesn't play basketball per se, a minor detail in the grand scheme of things.

You might recognize Nicole Alexander from "Flavor of Love Season 1" where she was given the nickname Hoopz by Flavor Flave.

Technically, Hoopz doesn't really belong on this list. So if you have any complaints, send them directly to me.

Didn't think so.

9. Sue Bird

The No. 1 overall pick in the 2002 WNBA draft hasn't lost a step since her days at UConn.

The 29-year-old point guard also spends her off-seasons playing for Dynamo Moscow in Russia.

However, I think we can all agree, the more Bird stays stateside, the better for us.

8. Swin Cash

Selected No. 2 overall in the 2002 draft right after Sue Bird, Cash is a testament to UConn.'s dominance on the court and on the hotness scales in the early 2000's.

Despite the resemblance of a fashion show in Storrs, UConn. still managed to dominate.

Now we know why Geno Auriemma might be the best coach in all of sports. He knows how to win, and make it look good.

7. Brittany Jackson

When Jackson and The Lady Vols were playing in the 2003 and 2004 National Championship games, I was in the early stages of puberty. I knew Brittany Jackson was my favorite player, but I didn't find out why until three years later. When I realized she was smoking hot.

Jackson, who plays for the Atlanta Dream in the WNBA had to play overseas for her first three years out of college before she signed a WNBA contract. Though frankly, I could have just written blah, blah, blah and you would've cared the same amount.

I saw this picture and felt enraged at Pat Summit for making her players wear such loose jerseys.

6. Lauren Jackson

Another No. 1 overall WNBA pick, ho hum.

Lauren Jackson, a two time WNBA MVP hails from the land down under and stands at a towering 6'5''.

She's also posed nude for the Australian magazine "Black and White" on top of doing some modeling for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

5. Kathleen Nash

Nash is just the second player in UT history to eclipse 1000 points. She's also the first UT player to eclipse a nine on the hotness scale.

Nothing like platinum blonde hair in a basketball jersey. Hot blondes in women's basketball are kind of like the one girl that shows up to an all guys party. You can't really tell if she's hot, but she wins by default.

Safe to say, Kathleen here doesn't win by default, she's just hot.

4. Becky Hammon

At age 33, Hammon is still under contract in the WNBA and has aged like a fine wine.

Although she grew up in America, she defected to play for the Russian National Team in the Olympics, but I still can't get mad at her no matter how hard I try.

Little known fact: While at Colorado State, Hammon surpassed Keith Van Horn as the WAC's all-time leading scorer. I'm sure the board of trustees at the WAC was ecstatic when they found out they could take the huge picture of Van Horn's mug off the wall and replace it with Hammon's.

3. Candace Parker

If I were to name every accolade Candace Parker has amassed, we'd be here for a couple of paragraphs.

At 6'4'', her height is a little intimidating, but she's actually a good-looking girl. Plus, if you're into masochism, you can fantasize about her throwing down a dunk on you.

My only question is: How did Sheldon Williams land her? I know a lot of athletes can go outside their league because they're famous, but come on.

I would have loved to see the look on Candace's face when she met the in-laws for the first time and found out Papa Williams was an actual catfish.

2. Tamara Abalde

This adorable 21-year-old Spaniard broke out with the U19 Spanish National team and is considered an up and coming prodigy.

She plays basketball in the U.S. for Lamar University, I only pray Pau Gasol doesn't discover her and snatch her up with his shiny new NBA Championship ring. What a shame that would be.

1. Meghan Gardler

Meghan Gardler plays for the undefeated national champion UConn. Huskies yada yada yada she's one of the hottest athletes on the face of the earth.

She actually gets playing time for all you snobs out there that like to make sure the chick actually plays before you can confirm that she belongs on the list.

Unlike Alison Stokke, Gardler looks good from all angles yet you don't see her on any "Hottest Female Athlete" lists, so she is my gift to you.

I would pay good money to see Geno's recruiting notes on Meghan while scouting her out in high school.

Moves well
Jumper needs work
Good vision
Not very vocal
Hot as hell.
