The rumor mill is churning right now as the National Hockey League's draft approaches.

The biggest rumor is the Buffalo Sabres being very active as "traders" before and during the draft. The hot rumor is Tomas Kaberle coming to Buffalo from Toronto and the Maple Leafs getting a draft pick along with either Drew Stafford or Tim Connolly.

I'll be honest, giving up Stafford or Connolly isn't that big of deal for me. We need Kaberle on the point for the inept power play the Sabres currently have.

But if we are hoping for this trade, keep waiting. Darcy Regier is NOT going to trade with the Leafs, not someone in our division...and especially a trade like that which for Buffalo would be considered a "blockbuster".

We just have to wait another year for Regier to make one of his trade deadline deals so we can get the likes of Raffi Torres which had to be one of the worst trades ever.

The Sabres have the best goalie in the world in Ryan Miller. It's time to start pulling the trigger on some trades and fill in the missing pieces while Miller is still in his prime.

But the Regier and Lindy Ruff "dog and pony show" continues to sell in Buffalo and things I am afraid are going to stay status quo.

Lots of muckers, lots of underachievers and little toughness.

Come on guys. Change this stale team. Get some fight, talent and desire. Entertain me!!!!
