A few weeks ago, we here at Bleacher Report decided to list the top 10 female athletes who could become the next Bachelorette.

Well, turn about is fair play and now it's the men's turn. Which male athletes do you think should become the next Bachelor? Here are a list of 10 guys who would create ratings gold as the next Bachelor.

10. Dirk Nowitzki

Dirk has been through a lot in his love life.

Although he probably wouldn’t do it, it would be great to see him come out of his shell as "The Bachelor".

9. Jeremy Shockey

Shockey has already put himself out there for a date, so why not feature him on the Bachelor?

I think his search for love would be a wild ride.

8. Pau Gasol

Spanish, tall, rich, handsome, and he plays for the world champion Los Angeles Lakers. But few know that Gasol is a renaissance man too.

Gasol loves classic music, loves to read historical books, and he at one point wanted to study medicine. Sounds like Bachelor material to me.

7. Dale Earnhardt Jr.

NASCAR’s favorite driver is also still very eligible as well.

Although there are rumors that Junior is involved with a married woman, I’m sure getting NASCAR’s most eligible bachelor would score huge ratings.

6. Alex Rodriguez

A-Rod would be the hottest bachelor on the club if it wasn’t for Derek Jeter.

He has already made the scene with Kate Hudson and is rumored to be with Cameron Diaz these days, so you know he has no problem picking up Hollywood starlets.

It would be interesting to see though if he would be interested in farm girls or teachers rather then starlets.

5. Grady Sizemore

Sizemore is the new Derek Jeter; hot, young, and very single.

You think it’s "Hot in Cleveland" now, if Sizemore becomes the next Bachelor, the city would probably burn down.

4. Lebron James

If Lebron’s search for a new NBA team seems interesting, how much interest would the league’s MVP get for his search for love?

Especially if he moves to a city like Chicago or New York where there are plenty of young ladies to choose from.

Add a few baby mama’s and you got a recipe for a drama-filled "Bachelor" season.

3. Tony Romo

The Dallas Cowboys quarterback looking for love?

How sweet would that be for ABC and the Bachelor. The handsome, star quarterback for the Cowboys has made his love life a public display in the past, so why not again?

Romo seems to have a thing for blonds, so variety may not be the spice of life for him, but this quest for love thing would keep us glued the whole season that’s for sure.

2. Derek Jeter

Now, I know what you are saying about the rumors of his engagement, but until I see him physically walk down the aisle, I refuse to give up hope.

Jeter to me would make a great candidate for "The Bachelor".

Can you imagine the millions (not thousands) of women who would respond if Jeter actually did this?

1. Tim Tebow

Can you say the “perfect” Bachelor? All-American good looks, a new millionaire, athletic, and he is STILL a virgin.

I can see Tebow being chased at the "Bachelor" mansion by some bad girl who wants to break him in, so to speak.

Would Tebow break his vow of celibacy for love? Can you say ratings blockbuster?
