This is going to be a great offseason for the NBA. With big name free agents on the move, there will be plenty of minor trades that can clear up cap space for teams looking to grab a free agent or shed cap space. Here or some non-free agents that you will see on the move.
Elton Brand has a huge 14 million dollar contract that the 76ers are looking to get rid of. I don't see Brand in a 76ers uniform especially because they have players like Maurice Speights who play the power forward very well and have young talent. You also have a player like Thaddeus Young who can play the power forward position.
Prediction: Raptors-The Raptors are going to probably lose a big man in Bosh and they would like to replace him with someone who could still contribute.
Darren Collison is a very good point guard who deserves to be a starter somewhere in the league. He shouldn't be backing up the best point guard in the league. I think he has potential and I have heard that some teams are interested in giving up a lottery pick for a point guard. I have read that the Indiana Pacers are searching for a point guard and don't expect to find one at the number 10 pick.
Prediction: Indiana Pacers
Udonis Haslem isn't one of the big names on the market, but he has a very good chance of leaving. It is reported that the Heat are going to be looking into grabbing a power forward such as Chris Bosh or Amare Stoudamire. If this is true then it looks like Haslem is going to be out of a job soon. He wouldn't need to back-up with the evolving Micheal Beasley coming up.
Andre Iguodala has had his name pop up in draft day trade rumors. They could swap him for another small forward. I have heard a rumor of them pulling a sign and trade with the Suns which would bring Amare to Philadelphia and send Iguodala to Phoenix. Andre would fit well in Phoenix and give Nash a good swing-man to play with running the floor.
Trpy Murphy looks to also be apart of a trade that would send Darren Collison to the Pacers. The trade looks to be like Murphy and the 10th pick for Darren Collison. This would give the Hornets a solid big man who can provide a jump shot and a rebounding force. This also gives the Hornets freedom to shop the 11th pick and looking to unload the contract of Peja Stojakovic.
It looks like every team wants Randolph except for the Warriors. Randolph is a great player who has tons of potential and can be a real force somewhere in the league. The Warriors really like Epke Udoh from Baylor and he looks to be the one drafted at number 6. I heard that the Timberwolves would be interested in sending one of there first round picks and maybe another player in exchange for Randolph.
The Sacramento Kings are looking to grab a small forward and the Pistons would like to grab a big man. They have talked about swapping picks and players. One of these players would be Tayshaun Prince. It seems that Prince could wind up into a King's uniform and the Pistons would draft Demarcus Cousins at the number five pick.
