Yesterday, during game six there was a fastbreak situation and when Paul Gasol was taking off for the Lakers' end of the court there was a camera angle that clearly showed Pierce intentionally leg-whipping Gasol right at Gasol's knees sending Gasol sprawling to the floor. It took Lamar Odom to keep Gasol from retaliating.

If it was an NFL game Pierce would have been called for a 15 yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and fined by the league after review.

That kind of crap at the highest level of basketball is totally uncalled for. Juts because the on court officials had their collective heads up their combined asteroid orifices doesn't mean there wasn't a foul on that play.

If the NBA was truly doing the job it's designed to do there would be some form of league action taken against Paul Pierce.

And it's not as if the league doesn't go over every second of video post game. So there can be no excuse that this action by Pierce wasn't seen by the league.

Allowing this twit to get away with this type of behaviour only re-enforces further unsportsmanlike conduct from a clown like Pierce and the possibility of him seriously injuring another player, or in the worst case scenario ending an athlete's career.

David Stern and his cronies better start enforceing their rules.
