Buffalo Bills running back Marshawn Lynch finally reported to organized team activities and when asked about why it took so long to report, “I was just enjoying, what they call it, the offseason. Kicked back at home, but still getting in the necessary work for me to come back and be able to produce.”
With multiple reports stating that Lynch wanted to be traded one has to wonder what is true.
Many media outlets reported that Lynch wasn’t happy and wanted to be traded.
However, looking at his personality it sounds more like a fabrication of the media.
In a interview Lynch did in San Francisco he displayed his usual laid back style, which he reaffirmed today when talking about a trade, “If it would have happened, it would have happened. If it didn’t, I’m back and here to practice.”
Lynch has learned in his short career you cannot control what people think. “I would like for it to be that way, but we live in a world where people are going to make up their mind and have their opinions,” he said. “Take your opinion, take it how you want to. But I’m going to be me whether you like it or not. You can say you don’t like me from a distance. Most people who interact with me have a different feel. I take it with a grain of salt.”
In the end, the real thing that matters is that Lynch has kept out of trouble.
