Is Chris Jericho Leaving the WWE This Fall?

Travis SmithAnalyst IIJune 15, 2010

Chris Jericho is one of the biggest stars the WWE has on its roster right now. Jericho is also at a stage in his career where he can really put over younger talent in a feud or put over a returning superstar.

Jericho may be one of the greatest in WWE history, but according to , Jericho hasn't resigned with WWE yet since taking a new job as a game show host this fall on ABC.

Jericho did leave the WWE back in 2005 due to him being "burnt" out from pro wrestling in general. While Jericho was gone, fans missed him and he really didn't achieve much with any outside project during his time off, thus prompting him to return to WWE.

Chris Jericho has done it all in pro wrestling; six time WWE world champion, nine time IC champion, the fourth ever grand slam champion in WWE history, first ever undisputed champion, and a two time Wrestling Observer Newsletter wrestler of the year.

With all of these accomplishments, what left does Chris Jericho have to prove in the wrestling industry?

Though Chris is getting older in an industry that can be physically taxing, he is one of the few guys to have never had a severe injury in his entire career.

With that being said, could Jericho be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel known as his wrestling career or will he re-sign with WWE and host the game show? At this point in time, nobody knows but one thing is for sure, if Jericho leaves the WWE, the roster is going to lose a major key player.

So what do you wrestling fans think about Jericho's potential hiatus from wrestling coming up? What ever your opinion is, please leave it in the comment box.
