As we all know, 2010 is being called the "Year of the Pitchers." With names like Stephen Strasburg and Ubaldo Jimenez popping up all over the place, how are the Philadelphia Phillies pitchers stacking up?

Jamie Moyer

Moyer represents the oldest player in the majors, and is a 23-year-old veteran for the MLB.

Moyer, 47, holds the most wins of any active pitcher with 264. This season, he is 6-6, and has 34 strike-outs.

Moyer most recently suffered an embarrassing loss against the Boston Red Soxs on Friday. He lasted only one inning and had nine runs on nine hits.

Moyer's contract with the Phillies is up at the end of 2010, and whether he will continue to play or not is a question he is dodging.

The left-handed pitcher is looking to bounce back Thursday when he starts against the defending World Series Champions, the New York Yankees.

Cole Hamels

Cole Hamels is the Phillies' baby: he was drafted by the Phills in 2002 as the 17th overall draft pick.

Since then he has 54 wins and 39 losses under his belt, and has a promising career ahead of him.

This season, he holds a 6-5 record, and most recently made big news with his 5-3 win over the Red Sox on Sunday,

Hamels allowed only one earned run, five hits and had eight strikeouts in seven innings.

The lefty has a total of 78 strikeouts andhas allowed 35 runs thus far in the 2010 season.

Roy Halladay

Roy Halladay is shining in his first season as a Philadelphia Philly. He is currently 8-4, and has 85 strikeouts in the 2010 season.

Halladay added to history on May 29 when he pitched the 20th perfect game in MLB history. The 12-year veteran had 11 strikeouts and allowed 0 hits, 0 runs, and had 0 errors against the Florida Marlins.

In total, the right-handed-pitcher is 156-80, and he looks for his next win on Tuesday when he starts against Philly rival, the New York Yankees.
